NEW! From Techno is our Tech-Scan. This 3D
scanner mounts on any of Techno’s 15 different size CNC
Routers easily. With this new tool reverse engineering or copying a
part can be accomplished easily and accurately. Simply place the
existing part on the machine, give the basic size, (X and Y
dimension to form a rectangular window) and the machine will raster
back and forth collecting a point per specified X and Y increments.
Once the data is collected you can place the steel protective
scanner hood over the 
scanner and use the machine as a router to
cut as many duplicates you wish. The data collected can be imported
directly into VisualMill 3D CAM software and from there machine code
can be generated easily. The Tech-Scan package comes complete
with 3D scanner, Point cloud collection software, 150mm Focal Lens
(other Focal Lens available), and mounting accessories.
