Tech-Scan

New from Techno! By using the Techno Laser Scanner in conjuction with our CNC routers you can scan and reproduce detailed parts with ease and accuracy you won't believe.

Just place any finished part on the routing table and the Techno Laser Scanner, which is conveniently mounted to the Z-axis, traverses back and forth over it's surface. You can actually see the laser traveling over your part! The laser system creates a point cloud of your part's shape and contours. The file is then ready for importing into CAD/CAM software. From here, the data can be manipulated or a toolpath can be generated to duplicate the part.

The Techno Laser Scanner is a noncontact measuring sensor capable of scanning a variety of surfaces, including but not limited to: shiny reflective surfaces, and even coarse or steeply angled surfaces.
