A Complete 7 to 10 Day
Aerodynamics Curriculum I

A complete 7 to 10 day curriculum on 2 CDs. The curriculum covers the physics of flying, parts of an airplane, principals of airfoil design, how to design an airfoil, how to draw and machine the airfoil and finally, how to assemble and test the complete plane. The curriculum even includes the NASA airfoil simulator, "Foilism", and lessons to illustrate how an airfoil creates lift.

Each menu item in the main screen has a number of submenus to make the topics easy to follow. Each lesson consists of audio, video and explicit instructions. The written curriculum is included on the CD and can be reproduced as often as needed.

During the airfoil design stage, the student is taught the basic principals of airfoil design and walked through the design with the help of a design worksheet.

The student is then shown a safety video and explicit instructions on how to load the blank and machine the entire airplane, including the fuselage and airfoil.

Finally, there are detailed video instructions on the assembly and testing of the airplane. There are even instructions on how to set up a class competition to compare the airfoil designs.
