New Series of Motorized Positioning Stages For Heavy Loads from Techno-Isel Feature Fully Enclosed Motor Assembly       Request Quote

New Hyde Park, New York -- A new series of heavy duty stepper or servo motorized slides from Techno-Isel, feature a single rigid aluminum extrusion profile and fully enclosed motor assembly. These compact units, identified as the HD2 Series, are offered in stroke lengths from 2722 up to 822 mm (4.8" up to 107.2").  They are designed for a wide variety of assembly, inspection and production machinery applications capable of handling heavy duty loads. They are available with either a 150 oz.-in. stepper motor a 120W servo motor or no motor. Each unit has four precision ground steel rails 12 mm in diameter with either two or four single piece steel bearing blocks all hardened to HRC 62 ± 2. They also come equipped  with 16 mm diameter ball screw drives with pitches of 2.5, 5, 10 and 20 mm. Teflon seals are fitted to the slide to guard against contaminants. The linear carriage plate is capable of speeds up to 5 m/sec.
