New Hyde Park, New York -- A new narrow profile series of 16 very affordable motorized positioning stages introduced by Techno-Isel, feature a recently patented precision guide rail system. The units, which are offered in stroke lengths from 4.8" to 107.2", are designed for a wide variety of assembly, inspection and production machinery applications. The stages, identified as the NP2 Series, feature a precision ball screw drive system with several different pitches. The NP2 Series is available with a 2.5, 5, 10, or 20 mm pitch screw. It can be supplied with no motor, a 150 oz-in stepper motor or 120W servo motor already mounted, wired and tested.  Stages without steppers or servos can readily accept NEMA 23 frame motors.  One or two bearing carriages are available as well as optional table plates. NP2 Series stages can reach speeds of 24 in/sec.
