The DaVinci Introductory 7/10 Day Curriculum and the DaVinci Introductory Mill Module both answer the question of how to integrate CNC Milling into the curriculum of today�s Technology Classroom Laboratories. The 7/10 Day Curriculum is in the format of the current 7 to 10 curriculum. The Module is designed to allow a more flexible teaching structure that can be adapted to the students requirements. Both of these two educational tools allow students to effectively and easily master the basics of CNC.

Working in teams of two, students choose either a 7 or 10 day rotation. Each day/activity includes a design challenge, a reading assignment and a writing requirement. A digital movie tutorial has been developed for each of the introductory activities and are designed to run concurrently with the MasterCAM software.

Reading, writing and computing are major components of each day�s work and the reinforcement of these basic skills in a content area of high student interest will have a positive impact on student achievement levels.
